Federal immigration officials announced Wednesday that more than 100 people were arrested across New York City in an 11-day operation.

"The recent raids in New York City are a clear example of Donald Trump's senseless and inhumane immigration policy in action. Instead of working with community members to ensure public safety, federal immigration officials chose to conduct massive sweeps that only further terrorize people who are living in fear. When entire communities are criminalized and therefore afraid to interact with law enforcement, the safety of everyone is placed at risk. This is not who we are, and this is not our New York."
