New York, NY– Today, on International Workers’ Day, a coalition of labor, immigrant rights, faith, and allied organizations came together to rally for immigrant rights and labor justice. New Yorkers from across the city convened at Columbus Circle and marched on Trump Tower to signify their unified resistance to the Trump administration’s rollback of labor protections and its attacks on immigrant communities.

NEW YORK, NY – Yesterday, NYC Mayor de Blasio announced his executive budget, including a $22 million investment in Census 2020 outreach and education efforts, in addition to $4 million in unspent dollars from the last fiscal year. In response, New York Counts 2020 thanked the Mayor for his leadership and stressed the importance of allocating funding to community-based organizations with strong ties to hard-to-reach populations, particularly in underserved communities.
