“Donald Trump lies to try to make people afraid. The Trump administration demonizes immigrants, but they are the villains who have funneled $85 billion into ICE, an unaccountable and unlawful agency that murders people in the streets. The facts: this administration has drained $1 trillion from healthcare, $186 billion from food assistance in order to deport hardworking immigrants and enrich the ultra wealthy. Mass deportations and detentions don’t lower costs, improve schools or make communities safer. They incite fear in our families, push workers into the shadows and weaken our economy. It’s time to end the war on immigrants and start building an America that works for all of us.”
